Cooler Master Case Study
The Story:
When Cooler Master said they needed some fresh videos and photos for their new product launch campaigns, we were excited! The only problem is they were asking us to shoot & finish post-production for 12 videos in ONE WEEK… how were we supposed to do that? Very quickly is how! We went to work and prepared for these shoots with a short pre-production scouted shot and edited these videos within a week. We still have no idea how we completed it but it happened and the launch was a success. The videos went live on YouTube and spiked their YouTube views versus previously produced videos, another successful project!
Soon after, we were tasked to produce many more photoshoots and branding projects and now we are one of the exclusive branding agencies for Cooler Master. We look forward to serving Cooler Master for years and making real dope content together.
Step 1: Pre-Production
Scouring over YouTube and competitors, we discussed with the Coolermaster team the type of vibe and style they wanted. We developed a concept for a contemporary hip, fast editing pace along with fast music to get the energy flowing. We didn’t want a long, mundane 5-minute tech video; we wanted something fresh that people can enjoy in 1-2 minutes.
Step 2: Production
Over 3 days, we shot at the Cooler Master HQ in Taipei daily, including 10 product videos, an event video, and a few interview pieces for their social media. All in all, our crew filmed 13 videos in one week.
Step 3: Post-Production
Our post-production team was editing while filming since the deadline was fast approaching. With so much content that needed to be edited, our editor worked long hours to catch the deadline. Once the rough edits were locked, our coloring and titles teams went to work to put the finishing touches on the videos.
