HISTORY
James moved from San Francisco to Taiwan to pursue film production and branding. Over the past 20 years, he collaborated with international brands such as Nvidia, See’s Candies, Coolermaster, 85 C, Yelp, and Schwarzkopf, honing his marketing expertise through working with the world’s best marketers.
In 2012, impressed by his Western background and aesthetics, Amazon Taiwan approached James to assist their sellers with branding. His seminars for Amazon’s VIP sellers quickly garnered attention, leading many sellers to seek Real Digital’s branding services.
By integrating his marketing skills into Amazon’s framework, James successfully enhanced sellers’ brand videos, graphic designs, brand stories, and A+ content. This success led to inquiries about account management services, which James initially declined due to not having an account management department.
Fate intervened at a friend’s birthday party where James met Eugene, an experienced Amazon account manager with over 10 years of expertise, an author to an Amazon-focused book, and his own Amazon YouTube channel. With their combined experience, they shared a vision of elevating Taiwanese brands in the Amazon e-commerce space. Their handshake partnership agreement marked the birth of Real Digital.
James oversees branding while Eugene manages Amazon accounts. The company grew quickly, hiring a diverse team in Taipei. Prioritizing quality over quantity, they limit their clientele to maintain high standards. Transparency and honesty are their guiding principles; if a product isn’t fit for Amazon based on their analysis, they openly communicate this and don’t take on the client.
If the product has potential through our market analysis, we will offer a 3-month trial. If performance doesn’t meet our standards after trial period, we won’t proceed. Our objective is clear: use our expertise to elevate Taiwan’s finest products to remarkable success.
