MASSIVE PROFITS IN LESS THAN A YEAR
Story:
Airllo was a popular B2B company in the face mask industry that had many prestige clients such as Apple, Mandarin Oriental, and many more. When we were approached with handling turning the company to B2C as soon as possible, we quickly put together the plan to get it ready for Amazon and Shopify websites. Within 3 months, we built up Airllo’s social media accounts and built a strong fanbase with ads and KOL campaigns. Next, we started running Facebook ads to drive quality traffic to our Shopify account along with Amazon PPC ads to drive sales. The brand became profitable with sales coming in from USA on Amazon and Shopify from local Taiwan market.
Step 1: Product Research
- Product research on Google and Amazon US marketplace.
- Check and research the top 25 competitor product reviews to determine what customers love and hate about their face masks.
- Focus on customer complaints (competitor product reviews) and integrate that into Airllo face masks.
- Liaise with the manufacturer for QC (quality control) and better lead time.
- A total of 7 SKUs (Color variations) are lined up.
Step 2: Branding
- Product Packaging Design – We worked with our client on logo design, UPC code, packaging & label design, UVP (unique value proposition), and important product details.
- Social Media – Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube branding all started from scratch, we grew the Airllo instagram account to over 1,000 followers within a few months from launch.
- Influencer Marketing – Mailed masks to over 400 Instagram KOLs.
- Product Photography – We had a studio photoshoot to shoot all the products for Amazon and Shopify website.
- Lifestyle Photography – We had a photoshoot for lifestyle photos using two foreigner Caucasian models in different settings shot across Taipei.
- Shopify Website Development (SEO optimized) – Assisted client with redesigning their Shopify website and getting it e-commerce ready.
Step 3. Amazon Ready
Amazon Keyword Research
- In-depth keyword research using both Google Keyword Planner and ZonGuru.
- Focus on long-tail customer searched keywords that the top 25 competitors aren’t using.
- Compile a list of keywords for listing optimization and PPC advertising.
Listing Optimization
- Listing Optimization – Using researched keywords – product title, pricing, images, bullet points, description, backend keywords, and other relevant backend details, we did a full listing optimization for all the products.
- A+ Content – We created and launched all the product’s A+ content.
- Amazon Storefront – We created the Amazon Storefront here: Airllo
Amazon PPC
- Launch Automatic and Manual PPC campaigns for all SKUs.
- Optimize PPC campaign on a weekly basis.
Step 4. Shopify Ready
- Website – We worked with client to finalize the Shopify website getting it ready for the local Taiwan market.
- Facebook Ads – Our ad team started running Facebook ads for the local Taiwan market and performed wonderfully.
- Sales – Revenue reached six figures within the first year.
