HelloFish’s is a company selling wooden jigsaw puzzles and they sold only 11 units in 8 months on Amazon while working with another agency, they reached out to Amazon Taiwan and were referred to us.
Our e-commerce team relaunched HelloFish on Amazon successfully with a new photo lineup strategy, optimized product listings using profitable keywords, and optimized Amazon ads strategies, turning the business around by more than tripling sales within three months.
Step 1: Product Research
- Product research on Google and Amazon US marketplace.
- Check and research the top 25 competitor product reviews to determine what customers love and hate about the current jigsaw puzzles in the marketplace.
- Focus on customer complaints (competitor product reviews) and integrate that into HelloFish’s product title, bullet points, and description.
- A total of 41 SKUs are lined up.
Step 2: Rebranding
- Product Photography – Our branding department gave directions to HelloFish’s own media team on the type of photos to shoot.
- Photo Line-up Strategy – Our team gave HelloFish a customized line-up strategy for the Amazon photos & videos.
- Amazon Post – Amazon’s version of Instagram is Amazon Post, we utilized it to promote products and the HelloFish brand to gain new-to-brand customers.
Step 3. Amazon Ready
Amazon Keyword Research
- Keyword Research – In-depth keyword research using both Google Keyword Planner and ZonGuru.
- Focus on long-tail customer searched keywords that the top 25 competitors aren’t using.
- Compile a list of keywords for listing optimization and PPC advertising.
Listing Optimization
- Re-optimize Product Listings – using researched keywords – product title, pricing, images, bullet points, description, backend keywords, and other relevant backend details.
- A+ Content – We rewrote and relaunched all product’s A+ content.
- Amazon Storefront – We re-designed their Amazon storefront to be more user-friendly on desktop and mobile: HelloFish.
Amazon PPC
- Relaunch Automatic and Manual PPC campaigns for all SKUs.
- Optimize PPC campaign on a weekly basis.

- While managed by another agency, HelloFish’s wooden jigsaw puzzles only sold up to 11 units within a couple of months. Amazon Taiwan then referred us to help them relaunch.
